I was invited by the LSO to lead instrument design workshops as part of their public programme Help On Your Doorstep which is a great initiative based in Islington, London for people ages 65+. I led instrument design workshops with the participants to help them prototype an instrument on the theme of instruments of the future. The instrument, referred to by the participatnts as The Globe, which was designed during these workshops was displayed at The Barbican in June 2024 before the concert in which the participants performed their self-composed works on stage accompanied by the LSO. This was a really special project and I enjoyed every moment of creating this instrument with the wonderful Help On Your Doorstep folks.
